ATS Engineering is owned and financed wholly by the privately owned HWH Investments Group but is managed and operated independently from the other engineering organisations in the parent Group.

ATS is a specialist company which designs high powered, technically advanced electric motors, tailored to the needs and specifications of each individual customers' application.  The head office is based in Dresden, Germany, and there are offices in Plymouth, MI serving the North American market.  ATS Engineering thrives on innovation and has close relationships with several key technical universities, such as University of Applied Sciences Dresden (HTW) and Technische Universitat Dresden (TU Dresden) to support advances in electric motor design.


Their highly skilled, degreed engineers have considerable experience and competence in the design of air cooled and water cooled asynchronous and synchronous electric motors, and because of their long established technical expertise, the motors can be developed to meet very exacting needs in the automotive, plastics, slitting and shearing, and general engineering industries.  Their motors are renowned for being compact relative to the power density, and can offer low inertia and constant power from the base to maximum speed.
