Chassis

Schenck using four, 4 pole, ARSD 315 asynchronous, electric motors for a 4x4 chassis dynamometer. The ARSD range of motors are all foot mounted and air cooled, deeming them to be IP23 rated.

Four off ARSW 315, ATS Engineering electric motors used by Renk for a chassis dynamometer.  These motors are water cooled, and are therefore much quieter than air cooled motors, making them suitable for NVH applications.
